I’m Tanita Cain, the proud owner of Cain Photography, a family photography studio that’s all about capturing love, connection, and the moments that matter.
This May, I’m stepping away from the camera and into my running shoes to take part in the 2025 HBF Run for a Reason—and I’m doing it for someone very special.
This year, I’ll be running the 12km event as part of Team Saba, joining the inspiring movement known as Maytivation, all in support of the Saba Rose Button Foundation.
Why Team Saba Means So Much to Me
Seven years ago, my daughter Tobi met a beautiful little soul named Bowie—and just like that, they became the best of friends. Through their friendship, I had the joy of meeting Bowie’s big sister, Saba, and her incredible parents, Kirst and Mick Button.
Getting to know the Button family has been nothing short of life-changing. Saba, a vibrant and resilient young girl with highly special needs, is surrounded by a village of love, strength, and unwavering support.
I’ve witnessed firsthand the dedication, grace, and tireless advocacy Kirst and Mick pour into not only Saba’s life but the lives of many other children and families navigating similar journeys.
Their story touched me deeply—and continues to inspire me every single day.

The Power of the Saba Rose Button Foundation
The Saba Rose Button Foundation was created to provide support for children with special needs and their families—offering essential resources, therapies, equipment, and community connections that are often difficult to access. This foundation truly changes lives.
Running for Team Saba is my way of honouring Saba, the Button family, and the many other little legends who benefit from this remarkable charity.
Join Me This May – Let’s Make Every Step Count
Whether you’re a runner, walker, or just someone who wants to make a difference, I’d love for you to join me and countless others by getting involved in the HBF Run for a Reason or signing up for Maytivation. Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting the Saba Rose Button Foundation and the incredible work they do.
It’s more than just a race. It’s about coming together, sharing strength, and showing up for families who truly need our support.
Let’s run with purpose.
Let’s run for Saba.
With love and gratitude,
Tanita Cain
