Making Memories That Last a Lifetime

Booking a newborn session means preserving moments that pass all too quickly. With years of experience, the right equipment, and a gentle touch, I capture the tiny details and early personality of your baby.

These photographs become forever keepsakes, tangible memories of a fleeting, beautiful time. All you need to do is relax and enjoy a stress-free experience while I create them for you.

The Process of Newborn Photoshoot

Step 1 - Initial Inquiry

Start your journey by filling out the inquiry form at the bottom of this page to request the Portrait Experience & Artwork Price List. I’ll guide you through every detail, from location and wardrobe to timing, so your session feels effortless.

Step 2 - Booking Confirmed

Once we’ve agreed on a date, we’ll take care of the paperwork so you can relax and look forward to your session. You’ll receive an e-invoice and e-contract, and the Portrait Experience fee will be due at this stage to secure your booking.

There’s no need to choose your Collection or Artwork until your Viewing Appointment after the photoshoot. Please note that the Bronze Collection is the minimum package required for all orders.

Step 3 - Let's get ready!

Let’s start planning your newborn photoshoot! I’ll send you a quick questionnaire to learn what you’d love captured, plan outfits, and get to know your family.

Have a look around your home for walls where artwork could be displayed, snap a photo or measure the space so we can design pieces that fit perfectly.

Step 4 - Enjoy the Shoot

The Photoshoot! Enjoy a relaxed, love-filled session in the studio, focused entirely on you, your newborn, and your family. Free from distractions and full of precious moments.

Step 5 -Viewing Appointment

Return to the Subiaco studio for your one-hour viewing appointment, a special time to relive your baby’s earliest moments.

Together, we’ll choose your favourite images, your collection, and artwork to treasure forever. It’s an emotional experience… so tissues are always on hand.

Collection of Artwork

Collect your finished artwork 4–6 weeks after your viewing appointment. Display it proudly in your home and treasure it for years to come.

Don’t forget to share a photo with us at Cain Photography, we love seeing your memories beautifully displayed.

Photography isn’t just about how things look. It’s about how they feel. As a mum of two, I understand how fleeting these moments are, especially in the newborn stage.

My approach is calm, patient, and connection-focused, so you can relax knowing your family is being photographed with genuine care and understanding.

If you’d like more guidance, I’ve written a helpful blog on how to choose the right photographer for your family.
